New AirPods 2 May be Delayed

Wireless headphones AirPods 2 can be presented only in the fall of 2019. According to sources from the well-known OnLeaks insider, despite numerous rumors, Apple will not release a completely new model of AirPods for iPhone in the spring.

According to an insider, in the near future, Apple may present a new charging case for AirPods with support for wireless charging. It will come with original AirPods headphones, while full-fledged second-generation headphones will be released in the fall. It is expected that the case will be presented at the upcoming Apple presentation in March.

AirPods 2 will be fully updated and released in at least one new color, insider sources said. Most likely, the headphones will be presented in conjunction with the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max at the Apple presentation in the second half of September.

Earlier, authoritative analyst Min-Chi Kuo said that Apple will release the updated AirPods 2 headphones in 2020 at all.
